Where does the name come from? 1
As to the origins of a name—so often is the babe conditionally held for ransom, only to be released when the satisfaction of the allocators is itself gratiated; that is when a name has been, either aptly or inaptly applied, and the early-set inklings of a monument to be erected begin to, like a cow, ruminate, and on the invisible horizon gleams a personality wrought into being, even if only originally—Clown Show Prison has had no such misfortune to wade through.
Somewhere between incorporation and falsification, an inhuman body comprised of organic parts with an unending, distasteful commitment to the highest protrusions of Sublimity (in all of its engrossing guise); aware of, but not condemned by the helplessness thrust on to every one of society's actors; that we should humiliate ourselves in the performances of engagement, dialogue, and commune, and see expectation as the angel-eyed panopticon is no fault of our own, but the residue of all that we have forcefully inherited.
Again, reiterating that we are helpless, we take upon ourselves no account of blame; rather, what we do wholly embrace and wear with pride, as if it were an unspoken and illicit insignia, is the duad—that which constitutes the grayness of death and permits uninspired action. Action! That is all there is!
What is your high purpose or philosophy?
If somebody asks us what the Purpose or Reason or Philosophy 2 is of our project we can answer in one of two ways. A civilisation upon a floating mass of garbage that will declare independence and supremacy over the rest of the world. Or, a three step answer that requires a sudden implosion of rage that holds they who asked the question wholly responsible, an explanation that the reason someone has a child is to become a father, and, if they have not so realised from your display of emotion, that their question is both meaningless and of offensive; lastly, another explanation, this time one that details each and every cause and effect you might be able to come up with on the spot, ideally these will all be layered upon one another correlatively and will create such an urr of genius that the questioner will eventually feel satisfied, and be left feeling both guilty and enlightened, though in truth they will have nothing revealed to them.
We have heard it said that you are not a very serious institution. Are you serious?
We are very serious. Some people seem to have fallen under the impression that we are not that serious, or that we are not as serious as we ought to be. Maybe we are even more serious than other people, specially those that seem serious or try to seem serious.3 In general we question what it means to be very serious, and, in the solemn act of having questioned seriousness, we have become even more serious than before.
What is FAILURISM4, of which you declare yourselves to be the headquarters of?
That we define our endeavour as a failure beforehand—before the idea set itself upon us and demanded speech—is only to assure you, oh judiciary, of the heights with which we prod by our intention. We are not only waiting for, but trying to realize by direct action, some things that you would not believe to come true. And since you, oh cloud, do not believe in what we are trying to show you, and can never realize what you would not believe, then we have no choice but failure.
